Live Action Series that everyone should see!

I suppose this isn't particularly about TAMS, but we're nerds/geeks and I was wondering how far we go in that direction.

Who's heard of firefly and is waiting for the movie?
Who's watched all of Babylon 5?

On both accounts. Also have all of Firefly on DVD and the first season of B5. I intend to get the rest of B5 when I actually start making some money (which starts in less than a week).

And I've seen it all. Twice, at least.

Not that I'm obsessed or anything, mind you.

Actually before making this post, I got the idea by skimming through your images and finding the one with Jayne.

I really hope that sales on DVDs and the movie that is in production can spark enough interest that Fox realizes their stupidity and allows the series to continue.

Oh, I doubt it, but it would be very nice. It's Joss's own fault, you know. Fox is notorious for canceling shows with high production values, fantastic writing, and amazing plots. He should have sold it to SciFi or something instead.

I miss Wonderfalls, too.

If you're talking about the series on the Fox Network a while ago, I watched a few episodes of it before it got canned. I haven't seen all of Babylon 5 but watched an episode or three with friends who are fans.

I've watched all of B5, and I plan on getting the DVDs if I even manage to get out of academia and move into "real job land." ;) I can't wait for more word on the new project!

Firefly is awesome to the max. I started watching it this summer, and it is one of the best scifi series I think I have ever seen. Such wonderful writing and great characters. I want to see the movie and I hope not to be dissapointed.

Haven't seen Babylon 5.

I love Firefly and it is silly how excited I am for the movie.
Do you guys have the series on dvd? Can I borrow it or come over and watch it or something?

If you ever come over to dallas or denton, I could certainly hook you up. As is if you need me to rip them and place them on an ftp somewhere, that'd be cool, or if you've got an age old connection i suppose i could have my arm twisted to burn you a copy and send it snail mailish.

I am only slightly obsessed.
