Title: Coming Back - Chapter 5/?
Pairing: Lee/Kara

Bad guys are always more fun, aren't they? I'm still debating if/how I'll handle Saul's reveal. I'm not totally convinced I'm going to incorporate that in this story, but we'll see ...

Wow! I'm still reeling from the Final Five (well, three so far). In fact THAT story has me nearly as intrigued as the Lee / Kara connection rekindling (also totally hot, and I love that Lee is looking for her.)

I'm wondering if someone has 'triggered' the Five. The personality change is similar to how I perceived Ellen's change when she was reborn (or what Tigh kept imagining when he finally found out the truth.) It's a great notion to play with!

I also love that no matter how stressed Kara is, she fundamentally is a fighter, and she's already doing what SHE can to get herself free. :D

So glad you liked this twist! The good news is, during my car drive today (all 8.5 hours of it), I had time to plot the rest of this story. The bad news is it's probably another 100-150 pages. :-/ God knows when I'll have time to write that. But I will persevere. :)

I do believe that no matter how far Kara falls, she will always fight. I think that if her mother taught her anything, it was that she couldn't give up. I love frantic!concerned!Lee too.

Yay! Nothing like a good kidnapping to stir some Starbuck to the surface. Nice headbutt to take out Tory--I think many fans would've like to see that in canon.

Liked that Lee was so quick on the uptake and took steps to make sure Kara wasn't smuggled off Galactica.

The Final Five are the Creepy Five here. Can't wait to see what you do with Tigh!

Yeah, Tory was annoying, right? I kind of like bringing her in and making her evil. Lee is definitely in white knight mode, he's thinking fast and determined to keep Kara safe. At this point, he figures it's time he made a promise and kept it, even if Kara fights him on it. Which at this point, she isn't really.

I find myself really, really hoping that Chief will still be loyal and help Lee. I never liked Tori either...
