OMG! port Kara, she's SUCH a mess. And Lee? He just wants to take care of him. Why is she still fighting it? Just when I think she's going to let him help, she stops AGAIN!!!

I find it so interesting when author's reweave existing canon. Must admit that Kara's apparent lack of reaction to the experiences of New Caprica (in canon) always felt off to me. Her complete breakdown in the previous chapter felt much more likely. (I held off on reading that one until you'd written another chapter BTW. I always do that when an author puts a warning! ;)

Looking forward to how all the cylon storyline starts to pull together. I'm still unsure of these new versions of the characters we know... it'll be interesting to see how their newness affects Kara's recovery (or lack of recovery). I'm also interested to see what that does to her relationship with Lee. :)

I truly believe that if RDM cared more about Kara/Lee (instead of Adama/Roslin), we would have gotten to see some of Kara's reactions to NC. I think the fact we didn't was a tragedy. I'm really glad you enjoyed chapter 12 as well (glad you waited until the next chapter was up.)

Hopefully I'll give the new cylons their due - admittedly, Kara/Lee are the focus of this story. I might have worked myself into a plotline pickle with that one. :)

I was wondering if she was slitting her wrists or shredding the tattoo. Somehow it feels wrong to be happy that it was 'only' Kara trying to cut the 'mark' from her skin ;^)

Looks like she still has fight in her and that's a good thing. Now if only she and Lee can work together instead of at crossroads.

Creepy having Sam channeling Leoben. Definitely need to keep that boy in the brig.

I kind of like the symbolism of Sam/Leoben saying he "marked" her and then Kara trying to remove the mark. It just seemed the right amount of "chilling" to me. Glad Sam's channeling of Leoben was understandable. I've got a few ideas for where that's heading. Hopefully you'll stick with me! Thanks for reading and commenting!

I love that Kara told Lee that she needs him even if it was while she was in shock. I love that Lee won't let her out of his sight unless she is back to being herself.

Oh Sam and his memories! I don't trust him yet!
