I think statistics was one of the best math classes I took. I love that someone can say "now what are the chances of that actually happening" in complete sarcasm, and I can whip out a calculator and figure it out! (well, it hasn't happened yet and I'm sure I would forget the necessary formulas, but conceptually I find that very entertaining:)

But I don't know about CALMing...I think that's just you.

it's nice to retreat into a world of facts and figures in which nothing is out of place and everything makes sense in a beautiful way...it makes such a contrast to normal life...and sometimes it helps trying to apply that kinda logic to every day situations too...
