*Disclaimer: This post is basically me thinking out loud in an extremely drawn-out and rambling manner, and is in no way meant as a reflection of you, your writing or your contribution to society as a whole

An incoherent comment to match your mishmash of conflicting thoughts:
I think finding the place where a person can share both the whiny and the not-whiny is a hard balance to strike. I've seen allegations against mommy bloggers whose accounts of sunshine-laden days and quirky children's antics don't match with live accounts of the same events, while exalting the negative is exhausting and melodramatic to read (postsecret, anyone?*). I go through periods with my blog where I feel like I'm either being Eeyore or "Heeeeeyyyy, everybody!!! Look how AWESOME I am!!"
Anyway. I'd love to hear more often from you, whiny or not. :) (Although, come to think of it, I don't think I've *ever* heard you whiny.)
*Personal opinion. Please don't be offended if postsecret is your very most favorite of all blogs ever, ever, ever.
I've never thought either of those things about your blog. In fact, whenever I read one of your blog posts I'll usually start giggling to myself and then have to go back and read the entire thing out loud to Nick. Your blogs unfailingly fall into the category of "delightful". Truth be told, it was in part your blog about endometriosis that sparked my whole blogger-identity crisis. Your bravery, openness and honesty blew me away and made me ask myself what, exactly, it was that I wanted to say.
And heavens, if you haven't heard me whine, it's only because you haven't lived with me. Ask Erin.
The whole reason I signed up for LiveJournal was to keep an eye on what's going on with you now that I don't spend the bulk of my evenings on your couch. Please, please feel free to do some navel gazing. (incidentally I went through a phase when I hated you just a little bit because you never had any complaints about your life)
