Finished World of Warcraft

Last night, we killed Kil'Jaeden the Deciever.

We missed killing Illidan to 'end the game' by a week (killed him the week after the sunwell came out). Got the timing right this time :)

not entirely fair - i miss out on quite a lot of achievements through rerolling continents last (?) year. and things like the hallows end candy buckets are impossible to complete for me - i've been to them all, but two failed to register .. and now of course i can't re-do them. next year maybe.

Do you get anything for having done this?

a large dollop of satisfaction, an achievement 'flag' ("You have completed the Sunwell" i believe - which is the hardest dungeon in the game), and the chance at winning one of the 4 items he dropped. in this case, he was an unhelpful eredar - only dropping a whopping great 2h sword, and some dps caster rubbish.

those who won the rolls certainly looked very happy though. especially the one with the sword, who was last seen running toward a battleground with a very evil grin.
