When I was little I never understood the anti-semitism crap Id learn about in CCD (Catholic Bible study, basicly), and to this day I have yet to understand why people are anti-semitic. The only thing I could think of is the terrorism going on between the Jews and the Palestinians. But then that leads me to ask, why isnt there such a hatred for Plaestinians? And what is up with American politicians that are apparently pro-crazy muslim terrorists? Bah.
Im not trying to get all political or whatever I just came across as cuz I know some people can get weird about things but...in all honesty, I cant figure it out. Im am sorry you have to deal with all of that.
I just read an article about anti-semitism about 20 minutes ago, and I think I will read the one you linked just now.
I have to point out though that I don't completely agree with all his reasoning. I don't disagree either, but it's been pointed out to me that some of the statements can be taken the wrong way, and that there are a couple of things said (one pointed out to me was a statement about American Indians) which could be taken as racist, although I highly doubt they were intended as such.
Tammy, that is excellent. thank you so much. Aish.com is one of my favourite sites for looking up anything about Judaism, together with jewishvirtuallibrary.com will be very helpful to me in the future, im sure.
