Listing books on eBay

Apr 19, 2005 17:28

I'm putting a rather large, extremely nice hardcover bible on eBay to sell right now, and I'm so tempted to list the category as "fiction." I mean, really. I wonder if anyone will lose salvation points if they buy a bible from a complete reprobate.

borntohang related once that someone where she works put the bibles in the "fantasy" section.

Or erotic fiction. The Song of Songs is hot stuff! I've no idea how it got into the Bible because it's part of Inanna's wedding hymn!

Someone must have had a sense of humour.

How much do I love it that it's listed right next to the Playboy Book of Science Fiction?

Hee!

Go for it. Hehe.

I wonder if anyone will lose salvation points if they buy a bible from a complete reprobate.

But that would require praticising what they preach, which is not a problem for most. :-P

It's a shame I don't have the balls to say "This Bible Is Being Sold By A Queer" in the information, so I could be sure that whoever bought it, I'd know they took that "love one another" stuff seriously.
