Name: Butterfly
Canon: The Tarot Cafe
Class: Black Hair; lowest of the low
Personality: Butterfly is a quiet person, but has a definite attitude to counteract the peaceful nature of his name. If he feels threatened, he's not above a fight to defend himself, but for the most part he keeps to himself and attempts to not draw too much attention. Butterfly doesn't go out of his way to make friends, but has a natural curiosity when presented with people who don't act like others around him or what he's accustomed to. Intrigue tends to lead him into digging up more about them, directly or indirectly.

However, just because Butterfly tends to prefer himself to others, this doesn't make him someone who lacks friends. Butterfly just tries to be careful about who he lets into his life. The people who do make it into his world are small in number but treated (to the best of his abilities) like royalty. At times, they have only to ( ... )

Background: Butterfly was born into the slums and picked up as a very young age to become a pet. He became the childhood companion of a little Blondie girl named Alicia, and they were inseparable. Butterfly was never on her level, treated very much like a pet cat, rather than a human, but he adored her, and was obedient to her whims. In turn, Alicia was kind to him, as much as her class status would allow. She was a sickly child, and Butterfly was allowed to remain there to keep her amused, the both of them too young to fully understand the class differences that they were growing into ( ... )

For a long time Butterfly watched the door, legs hanging off the sill. It was probably better she didn't know how he'd gotten the medicine, and not her business either. What mattered was she and her daughter would feel better.

Feeling better for accomplishing his mission, Butterfly leapt down and slunk back into the shadows. Right now...a warm, empty bed sounded like paradise to him.

-The boy's voice is soft and rough, faintly amused and carefully guarded as he speaks. He halts now and then, as if gaging what exactly to say...or how much to reveal-

What's the use of this thing, anyway? So people can keep track of us? Like we have collars on or something? Heh, electrical collars... I've seen them.

-He sighs, settling back with a soft oompf before speaking again-

...It's cool tonight. Kinda relieving after all the heat, but we'll see how long it holds out.

Canon: DOGS: Bullets & Carnage
Class: Upper. Blond.
Personality: Giovanni would best be described as obsessive. To a level of extreme, actually. He could be seen as detached from the rest of the world, and and someone who has no problem describing himself as greater than others. He has an inflated ego (just slightly!), and is violet and agressive. He's more than willing to toss aside the lives of others, or his own, on the command of his mother. He doesn't like anyone who's dark haired, and finds himself to be obviously superior. He definitely will not go out of his way to befriend people, nor will he go out of his way to help people. Giovanni is a single individual, and his "siblings" and "Mother" are those only ones allowed near him -- beyond that hateful side of him. He is, in a lot of ways, extremely attached to them, and possessive [mine, mine, mine - do not touch ( ... )

Background: Giovanni doesn't know anything about who he was before he met his "Mother" (Angelica Einstellsehn), however, he does have events prior to that. Giovanni's parents were dark hairs, and he was quickly given up. "Mother" a woman who loves children, took care of him. Watched after him, and even did things that in a society that highly values light hairs something very questionable -- performed experiments on children. She did not discriminate on what children -- light haired, dark haired, whatever, she would do it. Perhaps it was to see if the dark hairs were truly inferior, no one will really ever know. But there were many of these that Giovanni knew, but as soon as the experiments started, the memory he had prior to meeting Mother, and the experiments was taken away. He knew only her and those other children as his family ( ... )

Sample Third Person:
Giovanni purposely walked near pick-pockets. He purposely would get something stolen, just to get in a fight, to have a reason to cut off the fingers or shoot the arm of the thief. He would do it because he was bored, not for any other reason. He didn't feel as though he needed to justify himself, anyway. Giovanni was a man, that as a light hair, did what he wanted.

Three...two... one, he mentally counted, he always liked to give the others a head start in his games. It didn't really matter how much time, he quickly learned. He would, eventually, catch up to them. It took him much longer to exhaust than it took many people. Especially those he played with, it was, after all -- always a game of sorts. Much like a dog chasing a car, he would leap after them with the smile apparent on his face. He could see them, trying to slip around a corner. And he would let them think that maybe, just maybe, they will have gotten away. That this game wasn't as much fun for him as he had initially thought, look bored for a ( ... )

Personality: John is a very kind and sweet person. He puts other people before himself, and he’s always willing to help in any way he can. He doesn’t just support people financially, either. John also spends a lot of his time working with the lower classes, providing care and emotional support whenever he can. Of course, there is a limit to what he can do, thanks to the class systems, but he does as much as he can without getting in trouble ( ... )

Sample Third Person: John worked well with children. They took to him very quickly, and even the most withdrawn of kids would quickly warm up to him. It had to be his kindness or something. But either way, this was why John usually ended up watching the kids, if the kids needed a babysitter and the usual babysitter was not there. On this day, John had decided to take the kids to the park. Of course, it wasn’t that nice of a park. This was the lower class area, after all. A ‘park’ was basically an area of land with a few piles of rusted metal and tires. But it was still an open place to play, and the children loved tag ( ... )

Class: Upper (Blonde)
Personality: Yako is a total sweetheart. She doesn't have it in her to hate anything, but she's always felt that the Class system is wrong. For this, many other members of the Upper Class percieve her as naive and child-like, even though she's sixteen, and constantly try to shepherd her away from lower classes who might 'influence her'. She tries hard to help anyone she can, and tries not to burden others too much. She's an excellent cook and could probably run her entire (incredibly vast) household herself, but keeps the servants with her and off the street. She treats all classes with respect and kindness, and makes friends easily. Despite her cheerful and smiling demeanor, Yako is extremely intelligent, and has a very impressive intuition.
Background: In canon, Yako is the slave of a mystery-eating demon from Hell, acting as a 'detective' ewven though he solves the ( ... )

Background: Yako was born to two dark-brunettes, almost as low as one could get. Her parents were good people though and loved her very much. When it was determined that her hair wouldn't darken, they gave her up only so that she could have a better life. Yako was then given to her paternal grandmother, a kind but sickly Upper Class woman. Throughout her long life, the Lady Katsuragi had kept tabs on her only son, and constantly told her granddaughter of her parents and what their lives had been like ( ... )
