Assistance needed for an ace ditherer!

Below is my list of non-Torchwood AUs. Don’t expect anything original, I’m afraid. Some of them are plots for films or novels that I either haven’t seen or don’t have the patience to sit all the way through but I like the idea. Some, like Could It Be Magic come from reading a non-fictional book or a documentary and my thinking there’s a story in ( Read more... )

Dear lord woman! I'm supposed to pick one?

Um... I like Ghostlight,Romance makes me giggle alot, Harkness and Jones sounds good. Plus added Tosh! Ooo and Timeless too!

Also if you end up doing CSI Cardiff I want an Andy who is actually trying to find out the volosity of a kebab. Like completely obbessessed with it.

Er... thats not actually helpful is it? (Also the Ace who lives in my head is loudly exclaiming that no-one is 'dithering' her. Thank you very much.)

Well I need help deciding, don't I? Tosh is in most of these, in one form or another, 'cos I love her to bits.

I love that bit about Andy so yes, it will be in. Remind me to credit you if I forget though!

Hee, Andy with a big garage and various kebab-flinging do-hickeys...

This idea amuses me far too much...

Wow! All of these stories sound wonderful and I'd love to read them all, but I've managed to narrow down my choices to only five:
  1. Raven Days -- I can't pass up vampires, werewolves and the Fey! This one really struck me as having lots of potential.
  2. Earthlight -- Love futuretimes fics, especially with a mystery involved
  3. Chalice -- Archeologists are hot!
  4. The Seagull -- An intriguing idea for a love story
  5. Expresso Tales -- Ianto, Jack and coffee is always a great combination

It does, so thank you. I'm loving the way some stories hit lots of buttons and some are a bit more meh. Really interesting to see.

These all sound really good.
The Lighthouse and Timeless are the ones that grab me the most.

They all sound really good, but for me the choices are

1: Heaven Scent -I'd like a bit of well written Gwen-bashing (for some reason in my head I got the idea that Gwen and Ianto were together but it was an abusive relationship. Don't know if that's what you have in mind, but that's what I thought of, lol)

2: Romance -it sounds like fun.

3: On her majesty's service -Yay for free Celts, I can imagine you being really creative with the social differences between our world and this one.

4: The Seagull -I just spent a semester studying Dafydd ap Gwilym, so I'm intrigued about how you would write this one.

Hope that helps -sorry for the rambling.

Gwen is a real piece of work in Heaven Scent. Sort of dark!Gwen. Thanks for the feedback. You studied Dafydd ap Gwilym? Wow, I just read his poetry. Mind if I bounce some plot points off you when the times comes?

At the risk of sounding like a fangirl, I would consider it an honour to help! *salutes* And if needs be I'll go ask my lecturer for you, she loves the subject, so she'll be happy to help. The module was called 'Medieval Welsh Love and Erotic Poetry' and all we studied was Dafydd ap Gwilym. It was fun to tell people that I studied that. This semester I get to tell them I'm studying 'Sexuality in Celtic Society', what fun! :D
