So I have been thinking and freaking out and giving up and been accepting about this election. I was worried about the McCain-Palin bounce however after some reading and introspection my fears and the fears of all those other Democrats (which I am not) may be unfounded. people are not generally intelligent. people are generally average.
the internet does not make truth any easier to come by. the internet increases the amount of and speed with which information can be disseminated. information, however, does not equal truth.

on the bright side, the palin bump will not predict the final results of the election. there are a few factors that might actually influence the outcome. for example: voter fraud, vote tampering, voter apathy, and last but certainly not least, the weather.
