If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend watching Outfoxed. It really gives some insight about the motives behind Fox News.
Of course, the documentary itself is clearly pushing an agenda, which sadly discredits it in some ways - I think it puts too much focus on the bias on pundit shows - a forum where there is really no illusion of impartiality on Fox or any other network. It also shows a lot of items is a vague context (a la Michael Moore). Still, there's enough material in there to be disturbing enough without having spin placed on it (such as Rupert Murdoch's emails).
My Dad is a complete Fox News dittohead, and truly believes in its "fair and balanced" mantra. Sigh.
