I wasn't at first. At first I was really sad that 2004 was over, but now I'm ecstatic. I just can't help but imagining all of the great things that God has in store.
Is anyone else excited about 2005? Oh my, yes. I was diagnosed with mild depression and anxiety last summer, and it wasn't fun. I still struggle with lethargy, but it's not as bad as before. It's not like I was ever suicidal or anything, I just didn't care. I finished school by dragging myself past "the finish line," and wasn't motivated to do anything on the job hunt. Now, I am excited about finding out where God wants me to be and doing His will in the coming year. It's a fresh start, and I definitely wanted one of those after last year!
I was very sad that 2004 was ending, not because it was a wonderful year because it wasn't but because I HATE, HATE, HATE new beginnings. But lately I've been thinking about Valentines day and Easter and my anniversary and I've become pretty excited!!
