jacob, before you escape/run away from michigan by foot we need to hang out dammit! ..seriously.
i don't beleive that one can work toward changing in the course of one summer- sure people evolve in many ways, but regardless a part of their "old self", (should we call it,) is still present.
i'm not making an effort to change+neither are you= pool party.!!

Currently I have been obsessing over new releases from Sufjan Stevens, the New Pornographers [their upcoming release Twin Cinema, Architecture In Helsinki, The Boy Least Likely To, and Sleater-Kinney [and since I have been obsessing over them, they must be good, no?]. Ah, pretty pretentious little me.

As far as books go, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers was very, very good. I just finished Island by Aldous Huxley--which was good, but not as good as Brave New World. Read anything by Augusten Burroughs.

I almost cried during the last pages of the new Harry Potter.
