Continued the job search today.

It didn't go as well as planned, but still good. My final destination ended up being a salon for kids, and wow, its amazing. Do you remember the feeling you got, the first time you saw Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Wonka opened up the door to the Chocolate Room, and you saw the amazing sight that it is

I know, it sounds amazing, doesn't it? And, they do it all there. Cuts, hilights, perms, up-dos, makeup, mani/pedi...They have several packages like "Mom and Me" or "Dad and Lad" with special prices and though its mostly a girly place, they have things to entertain the boys with (an Xbox. In a salon!) They have birthday packages, so tween girls can bring some friends and they all get up-dos and glittery nail polish and snacks.
I imagine that its mostly little girls and tween girls, but I'm sure theres the occasional teenager. It is a brilliant idea, isn't it? A salon where children won't misbehave because everything is targeted to keep them entertained.

Its funny how today girls age 10 are so into makeup and trying to make their hair look like Hannah Montana's, because when I was that age me and my girlfriends still liked to play with dolls and makeup wasn't on our minds. And fixing our hair? Mom did that.
