My world has come to an end...

I'm in a crappy assed mood.    My computer crashed.

Last night my computer froze while hibernating and I had to turn it off.  This morning I tried to turn the computer on and I got the blank screen of death everytime it started to load Windows.   I tried everything.  I even called HP.  And of course I got someone who barely spoke english

I know just what you're saying. I'm typing this on a 7-yr-old Mac that's been upgraded as much as it can given the hardware, has a mouse that's starting to fail, and has an inner clock that frequently loses its settings - and when the timing goes, folks, the rest ain't far behind.

I have a brand new one still in a box, but I'm being a wimp over the idea of moving everything off this one and getting the other one to the point where I can use it comfortably.

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago...but mine was because of spyware. >.
