SIFF Audience Participation in December
SIFF has a bunch of "unusual" classics in December:- They're starting off with The Wizard of Oz the weekend of Dec. 3-5. However for the 9:30 shows on the 3rd and 4th, they're replacing the regular soundtrack with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon to create the much-fabled Dark Side of Oz! I saw Inception at the PacSci IMAX last night, and people have asked what I thought. Highly recommended, if it's the sort of thing that looks even slightly tempting to you. That said, by the numbers (all in terms of 0-5 star scales):

It sounds tone deaf, but I think it may be a cultural thing: I'm not sure the British (maybe especially British executives?) honestly understand exactly how "yacht race" sounds to most of the USSeveral years ago, the company I worked for got bought out by a British firm.
