Well, my dumb ass didn't realize that Chantal came out with a new album a couple of months ago. And I call myself a fan. Oh and I don't think I've ever seen her perform live. So anyway, 2/3 of the set was new to me. She was getting over a bout of pneumonia, but holy jesus, her range was what???
I've never cared for OLP, but I did like Raine's set. You go rock out on acoustic guitar! Chantal makes the best back-up singer ever. Raine commented that Sonia was too good to play with them. She replied with "I disagree". Nice. She was a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent. She totally made both Raine and Chantal's sets.
We went cruising on foot and in Doug's convertable after the show. I figured I could run whatever I had outta my system. I ended up one big red puffy ball of burning. We were checking out neon and old Hollywood buildings and we discovered a mural in one of the studio buildings next to Cat and the Fiddle.
