help!

My 12 year old, somehow got sunburnt llips, we ahve tried everything short of takign him to the hospital, if they are worse tonight, I am thinking I will take him.. but I was wondering if anyone on my friends list here would have a suggestion of what I cold try

I found this: "One of the best things to use for sunburned lips is clarified butter. You can also make your own by melting unsalted butter till it clarifies, then straining it. This can also be stored at room temperature for as long as six months."
