Went up to Coffee Planet in a quaint town near me to catch Casey's gig and antique shop for a kitchen chair. I found two at an antique fair this summer but now that Case is home it might be a bit more welcoming if she had a kitchen chair ( Read more... ) -

Stay on or Get off
Guess I'm back on for now. Thanks Honeyswtrose for your lovely comment. I have a variety of reasons for closing down but I found myself this morning, just too damn nosy to stay deleted. Who cares what the night watch men say, the stage has been set for the play
This afternoon Casey and I are heading up to the adirondacks to stay over tonight at my sisters other house. I'ts for skiing mostly but it's turned out to be a great summer house too. Music in the air
Off to the Illium 11-2. Beautiful day for coffee and music. After that a surprise birthday party for my friend Mary. That should be interesting. Wonder who her husband and daughters invited. Beautiful day for that too. I bought her a crystal with light purple beads and a little silver fairy. Hope she enjoys the rainbows as much as I do. ( Read more... ) -
The bear went over the mountain
Went to Bubbles for breakfast at 5am. I left from there on foot to walk home instead of my regular walk and Casey and Richard drove off to Mt. Hadley to climb it. Nice start to the day!
We all just got up from napping and off to The Illium Cafe, for 7pm and open mic. Picking up my friend David on the way....Nice way to end the day!

So much goin on
Well, let's see...last night we went to Richards Gig. Shameless [one of the bands he's in] played at the Schenectady Yacht club for canal days. Fun time! Boy, he has gotten good. Feeling resentful this morning
So, I've walked for 4 days at 6am for 50 minutes, 3 miles...At night I'm telling myself you'd better get to bed you have to get up at 5...Wait I thought I was on vacation. -
Sister to the rescue
My sister called this morning from the northway, she'd run out of gas. Fortunately she was only a few minutes away so I went and rescued her. Since I was out I decided not to be so lazy and cashed my last check of the year and get some groceries and drop a couple of chairs off at my mothers.
