I was born in Louisiana, in Laffyette. I dunno about living down there, just cuz of the poisonous critters you have to worry about, but other than that... It's really gorgeous. When I was 14 we went back to visit, since we moved up here to MN when I was just a tiny baby... and it's so beautiful, it blew me away.

If you do go, make sure to check out the Jungle Gardens of Avery Island.

House of Leaves is a really strange book. I haven't finished it yet, but it's good so far.
