Snow!!

For the first time in quite a few years, and certainly for the first time outside Russia, I got to walk to work in the snow! And it still hasn't melted, except on the larger roads -- nobody has bothered to grit or spead salt on the side-streets, so cars and bikes are slowly crawling through whiteness. Aw, I'm glad you're having fun! For some reason every family in the UK seems to have a toboggan (mine included!) even though we almost never need them. My experience is that as soon as there's half an inch of snowfall, everyone goes out and sledges and pretends it's working the way it's supposed to. :D (And, frankly, hills are just as optional as snow... I've "sledged" along flat surfaces with a light covering of snow, albeit with dubious success. But if you really want to, go for it! :P)

Today snow has turned to sleet, so can't really sledge even on flat surfaces :D But it's still pretty!
