you want to say that these people will get what's coming to them, that you can't cheat your way through life...but some of them make it out unscathed anyway. But thankfully, many find out the painful truth about life once their parents stop giving them money. Once their youth is gone, the harsh reality will set in, assuming these people aren't dead from all the drugs and sex they've been having.

See, there's your first mistake: thinking that college is for students. If college was for students, we would get PAID to go to classes. No, college is a product just like any other, sold to us by universities whose main interest is getting their professors published. It's all part of getting into the rich elite educated club.

No, I think that college is a service provided for students. I don't like to think of education as merchandise that you buy, however I understand the need to fund the teachers, administrators, buildings, etc. (Since your girlfriend gets paid to teach, you shouldn't argue this). As for the "rich elite educated club", people who hire others to learn for them aren't usually part of the educated elite.
