This has been a wonky christmas, in a good way. My grandparents arrived yesterday. ummm unless you have a very specific reason to watch 40 year old virgin, i wouldnt spend money on it. i bought it for my dad for christmas and we all watched it today and i was highly disappointed. i don't understand why paul rudd (who i think is a very talented actor) would want or need to do this movie, and while it has its fun moments and its sweet moments, it cant decide if it wants to be a raunchy dirty guy sex comedy or be a sweet dysfunctional romantic comedy and then it gets really annoying trying to mix the two. it was entertaining but not as great as people make it out to be. however, if you do spend money or obtain a copy in whatever form, i hope you enjoy it.

I saw it a while back with kevin and nikki and tara and I really really liked it. It could just be that I had been rather depressed lately and the humor really hit home at that time. Maybe I'll watch it again before I buy it.

(also, I added a food list to this entry, so read that again if you want me to bring you christmas sweets if I see you tomorrow. we're absoloutely drowning in them.)

The show should be awesome, though.

I'm glad you had such a nice holiday. The food sounds delish!
