sgamadison challenged people to post this week (every day if possible). I'm a very infrequent poster, at least partly because I'm not convinced I have much to share, but she's absolutely right that the only way to get LJ active is for people to post! So I'll try :-)

Um, I see a picture of a cat lying behind a computer in this post. Is that what you mean? Or do you mean a different one?

Well, that's odd--looks like it *did* work after all. When I checked it right after I'd posted, there was just a little x where the picture was supposed to be. I guess it just took a little longer than I expected.

Just out of curiosity, how do you post them? Do you upload them to LJ directly? I use Photobucket and I never had any problems - usually. Still it can happen sometimes that when I go to an older post, with several pictures, one is missing. I have no idea why, as it is still in the folder where it belongs to and I never changed anything, and after a while/few days it is displayed again.

So I wonder if this is LJ's or Photobucket's fault.

LJ's fault :-P I tried uploading it directly from my computer, uploading a smaller version, and adding it from the LJ album it got put into when I tried to upload it the first time.

I do have a Photobucket account but haven't used it for uploading to LJ--I don't use it very often, and that would mean uploading it there first and then to LJ, and I'd rather not have to do that extra step if I can just put it into LJ from my computer. But I could if necessary.

I see the most AWESOME CAT PIC EVAR. This is so cool! No wonder you're obsessed with him!

*grins* I just love this picture! Not only is it the magnificent Schrodinger wrapped around the laptop going back as far as I can see, but there's also the TARDIS, and my Stargate guys, and the wooden Earth symbol that P made for me! All happy-making things :-)

I love the fact that it is also on the laptop, too! Very scene-within-a-scene!

He's very fond of sleeping there, so it was easy to take a photo, make it my desktop image, take a photo of him sleeping behind the laptop with him as the desktop image, make *that* the desktop image, and repeat ad nauseum ;-)

I swear he's a contortionist! He sleeps in all sorts of weird twisted positions--I wish I was that flexible ;-)
