And of course I forgot to comment on these... (I get distracted so easily sometimes)
These are great! I love that you make the ATCs literally out of anything! The teabag ones might not be my favourites, but I think it's wonderful you think of them as material. I clearly need to broaden my mind in a similar matter.
I started making some cards, but I'm still trying too hard I think. Force of habit I guess, I have to learn to go more with the flow and have fun, and not think so much about the end result :)
That's one of the things I love about making ATCs--the only rule is the size, so you can make them out of *anything* that you can get to be the right size.
I agree that the teabag ones are a little weird (and certainly not the prettiest ones I've ever made!); they were more of an "I wonder if I could use the actual tea and the bag to make one?" attempt to do something different.
I definitely understand about trying too hard! If you can, think of making them more as an experiment to see what happens, rather than trying to have a specific end product. That's the other really cool thing about them--they don't take a lot of materials and they're small, so you can play with techniques and not have "wasted" anything but time if you don't like the result. I have made a LOT that I don't really like--I just stick them in the binder and move on. You can go back and look at them much later, and be pleased with how much you've improved :-)
