NetParty

Last night I went to NetParty at the Lift Lounge. Some would call that place a douche bag house, which it is, but it wasn't the normal crowd. It was the 300 - 400 people who signed up for NetParty. I had no goal set for the night. Originally I had planned on making some connections for another business of mine, but could not be too obvious about that because of who I was with.

Instead it just ended up being a fun and social night. A friend of a friend let it slip that she thought I was "hot." I had met her half a dozen times before, but for some reason I could feel a spark just that night even before she said that. She is much older than I and attractive. Her voice sounds like she is 20 years old, but she is twice that. I got her cell number, but this is the part where it usually goes cold. A few texts back and forth may meet up or may not.

I don't really like spending a lot of money on dinner, especially if I just met the person, but haven't found my default alternative. I can't really invite someone to "hang out" in my current living situation. This will change in the next month or so. I'm getting my own place. I think my plan is to invite her to another networking event.
