¿que pasa?

I keep receiving comments about how I look like I've lost weight, and indeed my waist size continues to shrink. (I'm going to need a new belt pretty soon.) However, I haven't lost any actual weight. In fact, I've gained a little. I also haven't gotten any taller. What gives?

You're gaining weight into the fourth dimension. *waves arms and goes "woo"*

You can't figure it out? You're so dense.

Even if you gain weight without changing appearance, it may be due to putting on muscle mass. That may account for the missing waist but not missing pounds. ^_^

Muscle is denser (and thus, heavier) than fat. If you've been getting more exercise than you normally do, you're probably building muscle and cutting the fat around your middle. :P
