Waiting

Right now, my life is a waiting game. I recently interviewed for a job I really, really want, and I'm expecting to hear back on whether I got it either tomorrow or early next week. I don't know what I'll do if I've missed out. We've been here in Tassie over a year and a half and I just haven't found the work I thought I'd find. I knew it would be

Oh, wow - that's quite an epic journey to kick off your international voyagings with! Will you have some time outside the con to explore the area, especially San Francisco?

Yep, fiscal matters can get like that sometimes.. not a lot of fun. *sigh* Just have to keep on trying to make things better, and it'll happen, one way or another. (And someday, I'll get off my tail and finally open that wildlife photography site for business.. just need to finish off the remaining twenty or so for a second pass at refining, then a final check that all the prices seem about right. Perhaps over the weekend..)

Will definitely have time - I'm coming over for at least an extra week on top of time spent at the con. :) Hoping to see Pixar in SF, Penn & Teller in Vegas, and meet an old friend at the Grand Canyon.

You can't come up here as I'm making plans to leave! What about Melbourne?; it's closer so easier to get to from there and cost of living is cheaper. And I might be there!

But yes, bigger uglier city and all that. :P
