As some of you know, this was my first time going to SDCC, and my husband and I decided to go as fans - just to see it and experience it. (Although I did have one panel on Sunday).

Recently, I discovered something called "Amigurumi" which basically means "knitted dolls" in Japanese (although they are often crocheted rather than knitted).
After getting a book at Kinokuniya on amigurumi, I became determined to make cute little critters like these:
