doh, i watched act I at 11:30 or so. i wish i'd just checked for act II.
It was fun, especially seeing Felicia Day in something besides The Guild. I will probably buy the episodes on iTunes to support this type of production model... its honestly the exact model I envisioned when i first got interested in Firefly and the wide disparity they had between network and DVD success.
There's a great quote from Joss in a USA Today article about the series being a hit so far:
"Made in under a week and at a cost described as in the low six figures, Whedon may have stumbled onto a commercially viable formula for scripted Web video. 'We're hearing from a lot of people. We're giggling that we're being treated like savvy business people,' Whedon says."
I love me some Neil Patrick Harris. Caitlin and I have been watching How I Met Your Mother, too, and we're just about done Season 2. We got into it right at the beginning of Season 3, so that should catch us up.

And the NPH quick-change in the stairwell.
I saw Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle last night, and am currently watching Season 1 of HIMYM. It's like an NPH love-fest up in here.
