Reminds me of the book 11 Wheel of Time phenomenon. People just don't appreciate building structure, and I deride them for it.

I was oblivious of the marketing you are referring to, and I'm glad I was. I don't think I'd have enjoyed thinking outside of my own perceptions while watching it.

I don't doubt this will get picked up for a three season run now... and I will personally root for a three year contained run.
