I bought pillows!

I got a little carried away with the story, but it might be good for a laugh. Frankly, if no one comments I'll be upset :( I spent hours on this people! HOURS!

I'm a loser.

Just read the gd thing...

Let's see... where does this story begin... how about last night around 11pm...

It had been raining that day and the astroturf walkway leading to my two room apartment still glistened with the damp. My boyfriend was with me carrying some cold medicine we had just picked up at the 24 hour grocery store. As I insert my key into the deadbolt lock I glance up to see the moist imprint of water that had been running down the navy blue siding. I turned the knob and opened the door, something I had done countless times before. But this time something was different, as I tossed my purse onto the faded flowers of the love seat in my kitchen I happened to glance at my kitchen table and what I saw there was very wrong. Splattered over my table and the metal blinds of my window was the gruesome result of a lot of rain and an inadequate roof. Dirty brown water. Everywhere. I quickly moved to clean up the mess, with Alex helping me the job was soon done. Yet, I was still feeling perturbed by the failure of my roof when we moved on to my bedroom.

I should have known, or at least suspected what was waiting for me there. This time, I didn't instantly recognize what was wrong. In fact it was my astute boyfriend that first noticed the desecration of my bed. Right next to where my head and his had lain countless times was an appalling sight. A large wet brown stain, proof that my roof had lacked the strength of character necessary to keep me safe from moisture. I have to admit I went over the edge. How could my roof fail me so completely! I immediately called my landlord (my parents) and registered a formal complaint.

But nothing could be done for us that night. We resigned ourselves to losing hours of sleep as the sheets were washed and dried. During this time I insisted that the bed be moved to safeguard against the inconsistant nature of my roof. It was the next morning after a solid night of sleep that we realized that the bed actually suited it's new location, in truth it provided a perfect place from which to observe our new fish tank! The dismal events of the previous night faded as the new day dawned bright (the brightness aided by the arrival of my father, all the way from Placentia, to fix the roof) and I realized my task: to find some apparatus that would facilitate my bed's new role in my life, to make my bed more 'couch-like'.

After countless hours of searching here is visual testimony of my success!

The bed in it's new position with the newly purchased awe inspiring pillows (the blue ones) in all their glory

The fish tank that is so easily viewed thanks to the grim yet oddly beneficial events of the night before

The until now unmentioned new position of my desk

Me, the heroine of this epic tale

Evidence of the exhaustive nature of my adventure, thankfully I now have very comfortable pillows for resting on after events like these. For, as we all know, the adventures of Sarah will never be complete.
