last weekend: 96 hours in SF with a friend. sweet and healing.
this weekend: 3 days to, in, and from Chicago with lots of friends. *squee*

running away from home is nice.
so is coming back.

Bummed I was outta town when you were in SF last month, even though I had an inordinately wonderful time in Santa Barbara helping Gwen cook for her mini-Ale. a Santa Barbara invitational Ale looks like this: Gwen and Josh throw a house party for 65, because she can, and because it's wonderful so to do. Good dancing and fun tunes, too. There are now TWO folks in San Diego who do the fiddler's jig - wow and things.
