I'm making spent grain bread today. Don't have quite enough yeast, so I threw in a package of wine yeast for sweet mead. Should be interesting.

Our counselor asked us today why we were there. As a safety valve for the process of divorcing and the remaining time til I move out was the consensus answer. We tend to save up any potential areas of conflict for these weekly sessions since it is easier to deal with them rationally with a 3rd party there. I wish he cared enough for this to matter. But if he did, we wouldn't be getting divorced.

The operation was a success and the patient is doing fine. Dad is still unconscious and on a ventilator, but they say it all went well & he should be waking up this evening. We are relieved. Mom is napping now; she had to take Dad in at 5 this morning for prep. My brother and I got there at 6:30 to keep Mom company during the surgery, which went ( Read more... )
