That sounds amazing. I bought a shield with an A/D and a MIDI in for just such a device.
Is that N voices out on an A/D, N pins, or all on one pin?
If you want some more input devices for the cloak I've got some pressure sensors that could go to tubing or a squeeze bulb.

i've got 2 audio channels (left & right) driven off PWM (pins 3 and 11). PWM speed is plenty fast enough for audio (65 khz) without needing extra filtering. The 8 software oscillators go through a very simple mixer to get it down to 2 channels.
