carnival season

As I am too busy and lazy to post something new in my LJ, I just link to last year's entries about what's going on these days in my city: Chienbääse took place yesterday night and this morning 4am, Basel carnival started. If you want to see live pictures, check out one of these cams: webcam1, webcam2.

The first time I went to Basel was in 1998 when the Basel festival was on. Honestly I didnt like Basel at the first site that much. It was just one of OK cities in Switzerland for me, but who knew I would miss that place later? Why I like that place? It is pretty much flat, so it is easy to walk around all day long, a lot of things to see, eat and buy, these the reasons why I miss Basel. Remember when we met first time it was raining but it was still cool, right?
By the way.. dont be lazy. even though I know you are lazy.. har har

Thanks for the links to the webcams Beni. It's always interesting to see where you live. I still hope to visit one day! *hugs*

the webcams don't show the nice places. i noticed that we have a lack of webcams in my city. I put up my first one back in 1996. it was showing my garden/backyard 24h/day. very boring, sometimes a cat, a rabbit or a bird passed, but nothing else. but because it was the first in my city, I got a lot of visitors :)
