I led my army through three different wars. I've seen a lot of action and a lot of death. My own troops and the opposition's.

It's a fact of the job. If I spent all my time goin' over it I'd go crazy. I grieve in my own way.

And how is that? In what way do you grieve even your enemies?

Improve myself. The better I am at my job, the fewer guys on both sides who gotta die.

I could sit around and feel sorry or I can be better at what I do and get fewer guys killed.
