okay, so about 2 weeks ago, i noticed that i had mysteriously put on 20lbs. i couldn't figure it out as i have stayed at the 123lb mark for years and years now.

well, i was just reading pandoradea's LJ and i see that she has magically got 20lbs fatter too and i also see that she is craving a luna bar.if she is craving a luna bar it means she eats ( Read more... )

dear, i put on weight because i am hypothyroid. i had been checked for hypothyroid periodically for years because of other conditions i have that mimic the symptoms of it. early 2003, i mysteriously put on 10 pounds within a few weeks, went to the dr and lo and behold, my thyroid levels were elevated far beyond the normal range. it had nothing to do with luna bars ( ... )

pandoradea...I think you reaallly mistook Tank's sentiment in her response to your post. I know her, and for a fact, it is not even in her character to offend anyone.

i went to the website and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised. she's still a freak though. i don't know...i think i'm too serious for her. ; ) i'll go back and read that, but the LJ is just not exciting. it's more irritating that anything with the silly one or two-sentence posts.

i am sorry i offended you, i'm just in a very happy mood today and have thrown seriousness out the window. i was attempting to Relate™ and all i have succeeded in doing is provoking an angsty emotion. the road to hell as they say...

note to self: LJ is ONLY for the really, really serious peoples in all the worldeseseseses.

is that what you meant to type? regardless, i'm glad we (i) somehow made this post memorable.

by the way, i bet your friend's scale is off, or yours is. mine consistently weighs me 7 pounds less than any doctor's office i go to. i just really think you would've noticed more of a body size change with a 20-pound weight gain.
