You know what I hate? I hate those stupid paper gowns you have to wear at the doctor's office, with the thinness and the inadequate coverage and the plastic ribbon belt thingy. I'd rather sit there starkers than try to move, sit, breathe carefully so as not to rip the damn thing that makes me feel more naked than if I actually had nothing on

Thinking about this some more, I wonder what my doctor would say if I did just sit there in the buff. Maybe on the gown.

How about you bring your own bathrobe? I've done that before. It does good things to the Balance of Power in the room. I want my physician to be my advisor to the Queen, where I'm the Queen, not her. ;-)

I decided that not even a flimsy, crinkly paper gown can put a dent in my fabulousness. And so it didn't. Hooray!
