I was listening to CBC tonight and there was an interview with a philosopher by the name of Alain Finkielkraut (I'd link that but I'm Mac stoopid and don't know how to cut and paste. Don't hate me because I'm clueless).

i) Isn't that an awesome name?
ii) With a name like that, is there any way you could not be a philosopher?

The Toronto Sun interview is now on for tonight. I'm not nearly as nervous this time around, though. Getting better at speaking in soundbytes, perhaps?

On the other hand, I've got a dental appointment at lunchtime. I really hope there's no freezing involved.

While mizalaina and sesby are away (krustukles too), I'm acting as Temporary Zookeeper at the Spadina Road Zoo. The job I wasn't sure I wanted may, in fact, want me. I passed the exam and am scheduled for an interview August 14th. Which is the day I get back from Michigan.

I just got a call from a Toronto Sun reporter who is doing a story on the Newsgirls taking over the gym and wants to interview me tonight.

Please god don't let me say anything stupid.

ETA: Okay she's no longer calling me tonight, as I'm overtiming. Will be rescheduled for sometime this week.
