Overdue post about Eastercons

I actually started writing this a month or more ago. Other things got in the way, including some health problems (sinusitis so I couldn't really read well didn't help).
Dysprosium, this year's Eastercon, was at Heathrow in a hotel I hadn't previously been in.  It had a slightly odd layout, but was friendly and comfortable enough. The con was fun. I

Literally, I meant it's the first building you see when you approach Manchester, and you think, "Holy crap, what's that?" I actually like the building in isolation, from what I have seen, but you are absolutely right, it doesn't relate in any positive way to its surroundings.

Not read that, but I enjoyed the Farthing/Ha'penny/Half a Crown trilogy.:-)
