Not translating the whole thing but in a nutshell, Matchy was the one who nudged Higashi into it, saying that "isn't it a good age for him to get married already?". Higashi turned to Matchy a lot for advice on marriage. Matchy hopes that their marriage will influence their work and their life positively from now onwards.

I'm glad for them (that's a great news Higashi got married). When Inocchi announced his marriage, Higashi had told him it was good it wasn't a "leftover" like himself, Sakamoto or Joshima....When those 2 will announce their marriage?
