Is this showing up? I do hope it is. I was relatively sure I'd figured out how to get this thing to type. The technology here is amazing; I'd really love to learn how it works, but-- the strange thing is... I get the feeling I wouldn't be able to understand any of it if I tried. Ah, sorry, but I'm afraid Edward isn't here. I'm his brother, Alphonse, so maybe I could help you instead. If you know Brother then we've probably met before, even though I used to dress a little differently.

It's a long story, but we're pretty far from Amestris right now. You need to find a safe place to stay as soon as possible.

We've... sort of been drafted into a war. There are a lot of dangerous creatures on the streets that you need to watch out for.

Ah, I see.

I've been told it's called "Tano" and that it's in the middle of the war. And also that it contains... monsters? It sounds kind of unrealistic, but I think here the definition of what's realistic or not has changed.
