As anyone who knows me recognizes, I am absolutely batty for castles. The other day I visited the tower on campus. It isn't much now...long ago forgotten by any academics and now filled with the remains of the bacchanals of the modern college student...but still somehow when tromping around the toppled stone and ivy covered remains, you feel in ( Read more... )

I was a bit distressed last night (and still)... I'm getting worried and there's a layer of anxiety underlying everything else, or has been for the past several days. Since Friday night, I should say. And it's pulling me into one of those spaces where I have a growing reluctance to do anything, maybe because my brain power is so preoccupied, I guess. Hm... well.. hopefully that will change soon and I will let you know.
