This is the age and era of political correctness. It tires me so.
Also, you need Guinness and Jameson's (or some other stout and whiskey). That said, the whiskey, given it's only 1-2 teaspoons in the ganache filling, won't really be missed if you don't have any and don't want to invest). I do however need to re-stock the Bailey's. Mmm...
Just the cupcakes on their own, without the ganache filling or the frosting are outstanding. Not too sweet, and lovely and moist. The recipe definitely does make 20-24 (I got 23 out of it), so if you don't have somewhere to off-load 2 dozen cupcakes (the freezing suggestion from the recipe is likely an idea), I'd consider halving the recipe.
Good to know on the output. Halving the recipe is a good idea. I do have whiskey, and if I ever have stout, it gets consumed right away, so I'd have to be sure to get that right when I get the other ingredients. :)

Incidentally, I'm amused at how many people were offended by the name, and how the blogger caved to them and changed the title.
