Mind you, it will take a long time to get used to the idea of no singing and the chanting being "Queenslander! Queenslander!... " repeat until voice is sore. And as for the woman from Townsville who was sat behing K & I..... I have no words to describe the aural horror that I had to go through.
I never thought to check the IRB site, I was too busy giggling at the thought of an Indian Women's team (I know, shame on me). 81st? Well that at least puts them ahead of the great powerhouse rugby nations of Austria and Bulgaria (it's all the carbs in the diet) and the fleetfooted all backs based teams of Jamaica and the Bahamas :)

As for the origins of State of Origin, everything, it seems, comes back to Aussie Rules!
Maybe, one day, the women's rugby teams of the world will get a smidgen of publicity. (For rugby, read....)
