There I was 2 weeks ago watching Good News Week (the Aussie equivalent to "Have I Got News For You", except they have a regular host ;), a certain Paul McDermott, who was also a member of the most fabulous Doug Anthony Allstars comedy trio

Oh goody, I will therefore use my skills honed by travelling on the tube, of subtly moving in front of people to get close enough to prostrate myself at his feet and then work up ;)

Glad it's not just me who can see the likeness. His voice (much like Mr A's) has my knees all a quiver)

Check out the GNW site too. Near the end, when they recap on the "Strange But True" items, PD gets to do the whole song- ergo, a longer version! Which is no bad thing.

Also check out the RockWiz page: he sings SFK song Monsters, and duets with Kate Miller-Heidke on Careless Whispers, no less. (As Julia says: the song you didn't realise you wanted to hear again...)
