papers are a lot like stories.
the ideas for them fester a while in your mind and at some point they pop up and bloom. if it happens in time for the deadline - writing is easy. if not...

If I don't think about it too much, I tend to do better. If I think about it, the paper will probably be creative, but a long time coming.

Critical analysis ♥ After dissertations, these are my favorite. Though I do tend towards a more general debate than analysis, I suppose.
