How is everyone recovering?

[Action]

[Chopper will be making his rounds at the clinic, stopping by the grocery store along the way. He's a bit sore from yesterday and might be sporting a few bandages, but for the most part he's well enough to be carrying out his duties as usual. On the way back from ( Read more... )

[Well, you're the doctor so you know better than him.] ...Can I leave the house now?

Meh, you were as well, if I recall! Why do you get to go out and about?

We had a protective spell on us, so our injuries were a lot less serious! You have to stay inside and rest.

[since he's... not in the house]

Just fine, thanks to you, Chopper.

[Chopper contemplates calling Sanji a stupid ero-cook and dancing about a little, but is sobered slightly by the fact that said cook isn't around the house at the moment. He fiddles with the journal for a moment.]

Are you sure? Maybe you should be resting, too...

[And because it's Chopper, Sanji is forcing out a real smile come hell or high water]

Oi oi, you know I've got more shitty sense than the rest of your patients. [And somewhere across the universe, a certain shithead starts sneezing] I wouldn't have left if I couldn't handle it.

You really did do a damn fine job.

[And in that universe, Chopper will be there with a hankie and sedatives.]

[For now, though, Sanji gets an embarrassed giggle. S-so happy to make big bro proud kfweiaojmvla]

Shut up! I couldn't have done it alone, you jerk! Everyone helped!

Working on it. Sore as hell, but I've been taken care of. I'll be fine in a couple of days.

[...For the record, Adell got pretty messed up in that fight. Or at least, it looked like it. Eh, he's stupidly tough not unlike Luffy, so Chopper probably won't be that surprised.]

[Chopper is well-acquainted with Luffy's insane endurance, but it doesn't stop him from worrying. Adell isn't any different.]

Don't take chances. You've been resting, right? [That would already make him a better patient than half of Chopper's crew.]

Yup. No training, no exertion until everything's mended.

[He chuckles lightly.]

Between Mom and Flonne, they'd kill me themselves if I ended up hurting myself from doing something stupid.

[Chopper might look...vaguely surprised.] Really? You're not going to try and sneak away while they're not looking?

Um, I'll be okay soon, I'm sure.

[Which she's actually not lying about -- her most prominent injury was a laser across her back, but even that wasn't as serious as the injuries others had gotten.]

[He nods. Adell did his job of protecting her, but the reindeer can't help but feel responsible for all of the injuries that this battle has accumulated - this was their operation, after all.]

Have you had any blistering on your burn? Delayed reactions can be common with that kind of injury.

A little, yes. I wasn't quite sure what to do about it, so I've been using healing spells. It doesn't seem to really work much, though ...

[That's to be expected; Chopper shakes his head slightly.] You can keep the burn wrapped, but make sure that the bandages are kept loose enough that there isn't any pressure on the wound. The blisters should go away on their own; it's best to leave them alone until then.

Soaking the burn in cool water for about ten minutes can help soothe the pain. Just make sure that the water isn't too cold.
